...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MST THIS EVENING...
The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for portions of north central and west central
Arizona, including areas from Flagstaff northwest to Supai,
Grand Canyon, and Page.
* Until 8 PM MST this evening
* Ample monsoon moisture and instability will combine with a
trough moving into western Arizona later today to produce
scattered to numerous thunderstorms. Training of storms could
lead to areas of very heavy rain and flash flooding.
* This includes flash flood prone areas such as Supai (Havasu
Falls), the Grand Canyon, and Antelope Canyon.

Information:
A Flash Flood Watch Means That Developing Conditions May Lead To
Flash Flooding Within The Watch area. People...especially those
located along area creeks...rivers or other flash flood prone
areas...should continue to monitor later forecasts and be
prepared to take immediate action should flash flood warnings be
issued.
